This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the management team in the development of a service for young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism in a residential setting.

We're looking for a team player with excellent communication skills. Able to work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals.

You will need to have experience of working in a busy environment, able to quickly respond to developing situations in a calm and positive way.

As some of the clients at this service require 2-to-1 or even 3-to-1 care, applicants should understand and have experience of working with clients who may have behaviour that challenges.

We are therefore looking for applications from people who have demonstrable experience in a similar environment and an appropriate qualification (either NVQ or QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care, and ideally also working towards or be committed to achieving the QCF level 5).

You will need to have a driving licence and access to a car that can be used for work.
