"On 26 May 2012, the amended Privacy and Electronic Communications regulation came into force in the UK and EU. It has been designed to protect online privacy by making consumers aware of how information about them is collected when they visit a website. The new rules require that websites using cookies must inform users that they exist on their site, explain their role and use specific measures to obtain consent in order to store cookies on their computer or similar device."
What Are Cookies?.... Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next.
Some websites use cookies to track your data, to enable their site to remember your choices.
We have consciously removed any and all known cookies from this website to the very best of our knowledge and ability, disabling all possible third party involvement. However since moving to a Google-hosted site, it may be that they have included (but not limited to) Google Analytics, Google AdSense and any HTML Snippet Widgets.
We are currently looking into this with the intention to disable/remove any relevant cookies, as we have no intention of tracking data through the site beyond visitor numbers. However if you have any questions about this, you are welcome to get in touch.
Additionally; because the ICO's position on third-party cookies is quite vague on certain qualifications for exception, we have also disabled the site 'log in' facility, as we do not believe it is totally necessary to enhance users experience of our site and the purpose of our site is largely as a brochure for our services.
However if you know of any reason that any part of this site is in contravention of any laws or regulations, or if you have any questions regarding our Cookie Policy or anything else relating to this website, please feel free to contact us.
For more information on cookies and how they work, please contact your ISP.
